Where Luxury Meets Nature and the Sea
Jamrock Villas began with a simple dream: to create a place where people could experience the authentic beauty of Jamaica while enjoying the comfort of sustainable luxury.
Cathy and Charmaine, the founders, are connected to this island. Jamaica has always been more than a destination. It is home, family, inspiration, and a way of life.
Charmaine was born in Jamaica and still has deep family roots on the island. Through her, Cathy discovered a Jamaica that many visitors never see—a place of welcoming communities, breathtaking mountains, hidden waterfalls, quiet beaches, and people whose warmth stays with you long after you leave.
“We didn’t want to build another beach resort.
we wanted to create a place where guests could slow down, disconnect from the noise of everyday life, and reconnect with nature, each other, and the true spirit of Jamaica.
When we found this spectacular piece of land overlooking the Caribbean Sea in Portland, we knew we had found something special. Standing on the ridge and looking out across the endless blue water, we could already imagine the villas, the infinity pools, and the peaceful mornings watching the sun rise over the ocean.
That vision became Jamrock Villas.
Every step has been a labour of love. From purchasing raw land and carving the access road into the hillside to working with talented architects, local craftsmen, and our incredible contractor, Mr. White, we have carefully planned every detail to create a retreat that blends seamlessly with the natural beauty of Portland.
Our first villa is being built as an eco-luxury escape, powered by solar energy, designed with sustainability in mind, and created to offer guests complete privacy while respecting the environment around us. This is luxury that doesn’t compete with nature—it celebrates it.
Jamrock Villas is about more than beautiful accommodations.
It’s about waking to panoramic views of the Caribbean Sea.
It’s about discovering hidden waterfalls, swimming in crystal-clear coves, hiking through the Blue Mountains, and enjoying authentic jerk chicken in Buff Bay alongside the locals.
It’s about shopping in the local markets, meeting the people who make this island so special, and experiencing Jamaica beyond the all-inclusive resorts.
